Process of our crankshaft
- Forging Crankshaft: Crankshafts can be forged from a steel bar usually through roll forging, mold forging, hot forging and precision machining process.
- Casting Crankshaft: Crankshafts can be casted by using sand casting, shell mold casting, investment casting and precision machining.
Ductile Iron Casting crankshaft material:
- Chemical composition: C%:3.7-4.0; Si%:2.5; Mn:0.5 max, S:0.17 max; P:0.02 max; Ni:0.03-0.05
- Mechanical properties: Yield Strength: 480 Min; Tensile Strength: 800 Min; E: 2% min
- Hardness: 245-335 HB
