What is the gravity casting process?
Gravity casting, also named permanent mold casting, chill casting, is a casting process, where the molten metal is poured from a vessel or ladle into the mould. The mould cavity fills with no force other than gravity, filling can be controlled by tilting the die.
Die casting process is a metal casting process that is characterized by forcing molten metal under high pressure into a mold cavity. Compared with sand casting, investment casting process, die casting process is famous for high production speed, high accuracy products and fine surface finish.
